So f/2.8 is a smaller number than f/4 but when it comes to apertures f/2.8 gives you more light than f/4 and then you get f/5.6 why 5.6? Why not just f/6 what does “f” mean? Before I start typing random fs and confuse things more check out this great explination at Pixiq.
