Quick Post: Flip Flickr, Five Years, 4000 Pics Gone

I first spotted this story late last nite and by this afternoon its making waves every where. Flickr have deleted a user’s account of 4000 plus images posted over a 5 year period following his report to Flickr that someone was stealing his images and posting them on their account. A week on and Flickr took action by deleting the wrong persons account.

As a response they have offered the person a 4 year Pro account but they cannot guarentee that they can restore all his images. You can find more on Pixiq and Peta Pixel.

At the same time, you may find Episode 182 of This Week In Photo enlightening when it comes to the topic of Flickr
