Photo Friday: We Pick 3 Images This Week!

This week is a killer one with so many images competing for our attention. For the first time we will be using the amended rules to pick more than one image. Keep this up and we may have to have Photo Friday every day – I really mean that. I also want to ask a favour, please leave your comments on these images at the end of the post, we would like your feedback on the images we pick.

Just can’t get rid of those film SLR’s myself!

I think you forgot to tell us who took the pics (unless I did something wrong when I checked it out).
Can the person who downloaded the fly please tell us everything: camera, lens, flash, expo etc. This shot is so unbelievably sharp!

Thank you very much. I took the shot of the fly with my trusty old EOS 1000D and Sigma 50mm macro lens. I used on-board flash with an attached homemade soft-box and it helped that it was a rather cool day. (why the fly sat still enough for me to approach it with the 50mm).

      The EXIF is as follows:
      1/200sec.f = 50mm
      ISO 400

When I hear you say trusty “old” Canon 1000D it makes me feel ancient, after all my second dslr was the Canon EOS 350D. That said I have stilled owned more film slr cameras than all my digitals combined.

Its a great image though, seriously.
