MIT Camera Captures Photons

This is not a breaking story but it is one that has caught my interest recently and was wondering if there are some more technically or scientifically minded readers that could share with us how they see this new camera technology benefiting consumers in the future. MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) have created a high speed camera that shoots at a trillion frames per second and is able to capture the movement of photons which obviously move at the speed of light. Check it out on their site here. Also see the story where we found it at Peta Pixel.
