Panasonic have today announced the new DMC-GF2, the successor to the GF1 which we reviewed back in our June 2010 is of PhotoComment Magazine. Featuring a 12mp CMOS sensor this body is 19% smaller and 7% lighter than the GF1 was. Panasonic also put a Touch Screen on the back, made sure its shoots Full HD Video and is compatible with the new 3D lens which was seen at Photokina.
All in all this looks like a great upgrade and we are eager to get our hands on it, particularly if the AF is as improved in speed and accuracy as they say it is. Full press release from Panasonic after the break.
